Is it just me or have any of you noticed some people on this board just post to inflate the number of posts it says they have? These people just post stupid, insignificant things one after another. It can sometimes be very annoying.

Yeah, and it does get annoying. People just post all this nonsense crap. The number of posts you have doesn't really matter, what matters are the things that you post.

Actually, I've never really read any of your posts, except this one. (at least I don't remember yours) I mean the people who'll go on one of these boards and post something like, "Hey, Loni Anderson is hot." and that would be the gist of that post. Nothing else. It's really hard to explain, but you'll know if you run into someone like that. They'll post like 5 or 10 items at a time and get 0 feedback.

I don't really start that many topics on the Chit Chat board. I post replies, but I hardly start the topic. I admit some of my replies tend to be a bit on the crazy side, but usually I stick to the topic.

Yeah, sometimes topics get way off subject and everything is way out of proportion. At times it is entertaining, but other times its pointless.

As for starting topics that have no point, now THOSE are, well, pointless!

I sure as heck know what you mean. In fact, I'm infamous or famous, depending on your stand on the issue, for complaining about that. I posted about it once, and the conversation went on for quite a spell. I think the post mania lessened for a little while after that but It seems to have reverted back to an abundance of posts like, "I'm bored, so what type of socks are yur faves and how many pairs do you have and does your little brother or sister steal them all the time?" ;)

Agreed. I dont post just to post, I post bc I have something to say. Seriously, I come here everyday and Ill see a thread that says something interesting and I click on it, and all the person will say is a bunch of gibberish!!! Its annoying that we have to read each new topic only to see its a waste of time! Im not naming names (because frankly, I forgot them), but it is annoying, but I might see where you are coming from. What might be important to one person, might not be to someone else. But if you are going to post a LONI ANDERSON IS HOT, either make it a poll, or go to WKRP forum. IMO. Currently we have a certain poster whose name I will not mention, who has a major problem with a certain action movie starring some blonde girls he apparently hates. While he at first made some interesting points, he is now just posting bits from other websites from other people, who share the same opinion about this film.
It's getting rather tedious, an I have unsubscribed from the thread. Perhaps if we just ignore these posts, people will stop creating these threads.

By the way, Loni Anderson is way hot!!!
