In the Phantom of the Auditorium (Goosebumps) Brian turned out to be the Phantom! I remembered thinking,"Wasn't Brian on the floor of the Auditorium with the other Students when the Phantom arrived on the balcony the first time? How is he the Phantom? Someone had shouted something like,"The Phantom's on the Balcony!" And I remembered Brian standing on the floor with the other Students. Brian at the end emotionally talked about how he was the Phantom for his school play years ago and fell to his death. He then fell to his death again in the present day. The Protagonist was shocked saying something like,"The Phantom fell to his death.... Twice." I was like, One of the best twist endings I have ever read for a book! :D

In current slang, I was SHOOK by Brian being the Phantom! R.L. Stine at the end of The Phantom Of The Auditorium put a little teaser of his next book about some weird camp and one of the Campers had angrily batted a baseball near his Rival's head and claimed he didn't mean to bat the baseball so close to his Rival's head.

The Protagonist said something like,"I had seen the anger in Tommy's face when he batted the baseball to Ricky. I doubted he didn't mean to bat the baseball so close to Ricky. " This snippet of Tommy batting the ball close to Ricky's head and claiming he didn't mean to bat the baseball so close to Ricky's head despite the Protagonist saying they saw Tommy looking angry helped take the edge off I felt from the shocking twist of Brian being the Phantom Of The Auditorium!

Missing A Beat(Nancy Drew Mysteries). Nancy Drew has to solve the mystery of who caused Arson to a Rockstar's New Restaurant. I'll call the Rockstar Eric. The Arsonist turned out to be someone I'll call Francesca. Francesca was a Fan of Eric's and went to one of his Concerts. He held her hand at his Concert and told her he loved her(Much like MANY Rockstars do/did to their Female Fans.

She got a job at his new restaurant and was angry that he treated her like any other Employee, not like someone he loved romantically. She was like,"He held my hand and told me he loved me at his Concert and he treats me like any other Employee! I'm going to burn his new restaurant down!" And did.

She was arrested for Arson. The thing that made this twist ending so shocking is because Francesca was a BACKGROUND character. She only showed up on like 5 pages! I didn't expect her to be the Arsonist at all! Like the saying goes,"It's always the one you least expect!" And that saying was proven true in Missing A Beat! One of the best twist endings for a book I have ever read! :D

In The Halloween Party(Fear Street) Justine, who is seemingly a Teenager invites some Teenagers to her Halloween Party. They go to the Halloween Party and Justine turns out to be around their PARENTS' ages, Not a Teenager and tries to murder them to get revenge on their Parents for a horrible prank their parents pulled on her a long time ago. The Teens are like,"Please, leave us alone. We weren't even born yet when our parents pulled that horrible prank on you!" (Ma movie had a similar plot, Adult luring Teenagers to her house to party, and trying to kill them for revenge for horrible prank their Parents pulled on her when they were Teenagers themselves. But Ma wasn't posing as a Teenager, the present day Teenagers knew that she was an Adult. ) Justine's Uncle saved their lives and Justine was arrested. One of the best twist endings for a book! :D

In The Perfect Date(Fear Street) Bradley had a girlfriend named Sharon Noles and she didn't want to go skiing and he talked her into it. She ended up DYING in a skiing accident. About a year later, Bradley falls in love with a new girl named Rosha Nelson. They become boyfriend and girlfriend and she reveals she's actually Sharon Noles, just came back from the dead with a new face and used an Anagram to become Rosha Nelson! She tries to kill Bradley for indirectly causing her to die in the skiing accident! One of the best twist endings for a book and taught me what an Anagram was! :D

Gunsmoke, season 10, episode 27...."The Lady" Featuring Kathryn Ross

Kathryn Ross is this hot hot hot, but profoundly narcissistic gal traveling With her older Aunt to San Francisco. Their stage stops in Dodge, and they go into a restaurant to get a meal.

They act like everyone of the locals is a peasant. One particularly grubby dude is taken with the young gal's looks, and makes on overture. He is maliciously cut down.

The older aunt meets a middle class farmer, and falls in love. He Proposes marriage. She decides they are going to stay in Dodge. The spoiled brat is livid.

Brat decides to exploit the grubby dude's crush on her, and promises him earthly delights if he can arrange for the farmer to die.

He proposes they hire a gunman to kill the farmer, but claims the gunman has demaned that their "contract" be in writing.

She writes the contract, the gunman is hired, the plot fails, and at the very end of the show the grubby dude reveals that he had kept the contract himself, and would reveal to the authorities, unless she agreed to spend the rest of her life as his bride.

The show ends with those two riding off in a buggy, only one smiling.

My thought, the guy's life is going to be living misery. It's bad enough living with someone who doesn't love you. But to entrap someone, who is convinced you are beneath them, with a possible revenge motive....man that dude's in for a rough life.
