Were the episodes of as good as original series? What were best episodes of both series’?
Do we know what Beaver’s wife’s name was? How did Beaver end up with the kids after the divorce?

I do remember that Beaver's wife was named Kimberly, played in the TV movie and in one of the last New Leave it to Beaver episodes by Joanna Gleason. She returned after Beaver was about to marry Kevin's preschool teacher Pamela.
