"Bel-Air" Renewed for Season 3 at Peacock

"Bel-Air" is getting another go at Peacock. The streamer announced Friday that the series has been renewed for Season 3.

The second season is airing new episodes through April 27.



When it launched on Peacock last year, "Bel-Air"became the streamer’s most-watched original premiere.

With the debut of Season 2, it has become Peacock’s most-watched original sophomore series to date.

Peacock‘s "Bel-Air" has set Thursday, August 15 as the show’s premiere of its third season. The premiere will feature three new episodes.



In Season 3, school’s out for the summer, and Will (Jabari Banks) is doing Bel-Air his way. Being a part of the Banks family has given him a new perspective – it isn’t just about wealth, it means that Will now has options to lean into other things that excite him and has the privilege to dream bigger.

As Will makes an exciting pivot, he finds a partner in Carlton (Olly Sholotan), who desperately wants to leave his life of addiction behind and rebuild his damaged reputation. And while the dynamic duo has a lot of exciting wins, working together also reveals fundamental differences in their backgrounds and worldviews.

Can a partnership of such extremes work?



"Bel-Air‘s" showrunner/writer/executive producer Carla Banks Waddles teases the new season is “summer school with no uniforms, just summer sizzle.”

It will “explore questions like, how do you prove yourself in a world that views you in limited ways? How do you reach beyond your comfort zone to create new opportunities for yourself? How does a family rebuild broken trust?”

In addition to the fun, the new season will also explore “the gentrification happening in South LA.”
