When Entertainment Tonight made it's debut in the 80's it was known for being the best entertainment news magazine show in the world and based on that show a new trend of entertainment news magazine shows would follow. And now if you watch any entertainment news magazine show you will notice that they have gone downhill and I can't figure out why? Because it used to be the entertainment news magazine shows were full of happy Hollywood stories and awesome celebrity news. But lately if you are watching Entertainment Tonight or any other show you'll notice that they have stories with titles such as "The real story behind Benedict Cumberbatch's career" "Remembering Chadwick a look at the legacy of Chadwick Boseman" or "Paul Bettany's Special Recipes" and I can't figure out how these types of shows get big ratings based on these types of stories. I also can't figure out how Entertainment Tonight is still surviving with these kind of Hollywood stories too? Because if there were more happy stories about celebrities instead of sad stories about celebrities with illnesses or celebrity deaths the ratings for these types of shows would be better
