Guns 'N' Roses was actually formed when members of two Los Angeles bands, L.A. Guns and Hollywood Roses, decided to form a band that combined both camps.

Guns 'N' Roses has been a mixed bag: "Welcome To the Jungle" was this awesomely dark song which put them on the map in 1988, but then "Sweet Child O' Mine" became the obligatory power ballad. In 1991, both 'Use Your Illusion' Parts I and II featured some great material, but was overshadowed by their epic ballad "November Rain". The band set out to be a combination of both Aerosmith and the Sex Pistols, but something got lost along the way.


"Move To the City", "Rocket Queen", "Mr. Brownstone", and "Pretty Tied Up" are awesome songs.

I voted for the Roses. :D Axl Rose is my favorite part of Guns N'Roses! :D What a phenomenal Singer and Performer! :D
