I have been posting, and being a member, of an internet forum(s) since 1998. And I have only been banned twice.

Once on a dating site because I uploaded a crazy photograph pretending that it was me. I did this on purpose because I wanted to get banned.

The second time was from IMDb fighting on the George Clooney forum with a troll. Interestingly enough, I am not even a fan of Clooney.


I find being a jerk on the web is a waste of time, actually posting on the internet is a time waster but I do it anyway:lol:

I got banned three times from a website but they always let me back on. The reasons were 1. I called a character on T.V. a sl--. Not the actress, the character but I got banned. 2. I called a character fat. Okay, that was wrong because the actress is also fat. I deserved that one I guess. But other people call people horrible names and call them ugly and they don't all get banned. 3. I made a joke and somebody said it was racist but it totally was NOT. The word black was in the joke. It was not about race. That stung. But I always got back on.

The only other time I got banned was from a site I had just joined I forget the name now. It might have had the word Hippie in it? They said my user name that I had just created was too similar to another user who had just gotten banned and they were afraid I was them. Of course I was not them and why would I choose a name so close to a banned user's name on purpose if I was them? LOL

I don't see why talking about payphones would get you banned. Was it off topic by any chance? Sometimes people get huffy if something is posted in the wrong thread. I love old payphones and miss them.

The banning I got from City Data I can only relate to the fact that I am not a lover of big pharma and maybe said too much against BP for the city data mods and since I believe they are heavily funded by BP, they did their job and I think I was a member there 5 or so years. A lot of it was good. The CD mods are notorious for getting rid of folks...

When they didn't give a reason, they went with spam or troll....

I've learned so much from Dr. Google and other smart people.

I checked the logs on my last 2 accts and PJSATURN blocked me.... I ONLY POSTED ON ELNINA'S BASES... PAM HAS NO RIGHT TO GOTO ELNINA'S BASES AND BLOCK ME!!!!!!

They think they are global mods AND THEY ARE NOT... They are only supposed to mod the bases they are assigned to! (I sent a PM to Pam asking her to please stop blocking me)

I got banned at one forum because I created the account with a user name of "UncleFeeley",

I also had this one doof who was always trying to punk me at one of the MLB forums, so I created an alt/ and pirated his avatar, installing a cartoon of an elephant doing obscene things to his character, animated it, and used that for the new avatar on my account. Since I did this after the world series, none of the admins caught it until spring training, so I got to tease the guy all winter. Then they axed me.

I might use that as my next acct on CD :)

When the "torch and pitchfork" brigade came down on me to impress their disapproval, I explained that my real name was Felix, and that I had a niece who could not pronounce my name correctly. Did little good, they were not impressed.

But the thing of it is, nothing that I did violated any of their posted TOS. They banned me purely out of spite.

Taught me two lessons though. One, just because someone is a forum admin, although they might have the last word, that don't make them "right". And two, one doesn't have to be vulgar to get an objectionable point across. You can use the filth that is already in the minds of your target, inspiring them to think ideas and concepts that you could never get away with writing

"torch and pitchfork" type personalities are fond of playing "connect the dots" in their never ending quest to make mountains out of mole hills.

I gwt vanned from Facebook seemjngky every month, for maibky stupid thibgs which shouodbt even be a thing. My last run in was a story if Russian air force planes in Alaskan airpsace and I states that the Americans should SHOOT missles at them to force them to turn back. But since I said “Shoot”, I was banned for advocating violence. I was banned another time for using “shoot” in a post about a Kitchen Nightmares episode of this awful restaurant serving pork bbq, and I said “In Memphis, we would shoot the guy who served that!”

I stated I was a member of a board called www.iidb.org (not to be confused with IMDB). This was a rationalist board and I was a member on there for over ten years in the 00’s and 10’s. Probably made 2,000 posts at least, never had an issue with moderators, could say what I want without sanction. I think the only way one could get banned from there would be threats of violence, overt racism or threats. I could make outlandish posts there. A famous one I did was “Did Helen Keller ever get laid.”, or the story that I accidentally drank my own urine. Hilarity ensued and there was some great conversation about religion, faith, sexual issues, politics and everything else.

The board was revived, but now it is ran by very touchy left wing liberal toadies who just like to hear the sound of their own voice. I was admonished by the “moderator” almost everyday about something I wrote. I either “hijacked”, was in bad taste, made a Rodney King joke which they deemed racist. It’s just seemed it was everyday with them. Finally I stated that the board had as much freedom as Communist East Germany and was told I could not criticize the moderators. So I got sick of them and knowing I would be banned told them what I think of them, their stupid board and how left wing liberals like them hate free speech (and they do). The most intolerant people are the ones who preach tolerance the most.

I hate censorship, and these message boards and social media sites do just that, I think it is just indoctrination of the reader and poster to their viewpoints and that’s it. That’s Communism. Weird that the youth of today swings like that.

The Nazis Uniforms almost look like an Airplane's Pilot's or a Ship Captain's Uniform, just black and without the Swastika. :)

I nearly got banned on here for posting a sex story when I was newer here.:crazy: I had just gotten off a Website that at the time allowed sex stories and Teenage girls to show pictures of themselves and ask other Posters if they were hot. That Website later removed the sex stories ability and allowing Teenage girls to show pictures of themselves and ask if they were hot, the reasoning being something like, "The majority of Posters on this Website are Teenage girls, so we don't need to have creepy Adult men reading Teen sex stories on here or to be leering at Teenage girls, so the ability for Teen sex stories and Teenage girls pictures has been removed." On SO, I thought SO was just as okay with sex stories, so I wrote a steamy sex story that was removed like an hour later and I explained that I just got off a Website that allowed sex stories. Janice said something like,"I understand you are new here and were just on a Website that allows sex stories, but SO is a Family Oriented site. We don't want say a 12 year old reading sex stories on here. If you ever post another sex story like the one I just deleted, you will be banned." I took her warning seriously. :)
