Just like Who Wants To Be A Millionaire and Jeopardy and Wheel Of Fortune Deal Or No Deal made it's debut in syndication in a half-hour version which was seen on many stations beginning in 2008. Howie Mandel also was the host of the syndicated Deal Or No Deal and also had changes that were different from the nighttime NBC version. At the start of the show Patricia Kara and Tameka Jacobs from the original version of Deal Or No Deal spun The Deal Wheel to choose which of the 22 contestants would be chosen to play for a prize this time of $500,000 and if the contestant's number was chosen he/she got to play but the contestant had the option of keeping his/her original case or swapping it for another case. The gameplay was the exact same thing as the original Deal Or No Deal too. Another thing about this version of Deal Or No Deal was special theme weeks were sometimes featured such as Teachers Week Halloween Week and Nurses Week. Although better than the NBC version the syndicated version of Deal Of No Deal lived on after the original NBC version was cancelled in 2009 but also got cancelled in the spring of 2010. Mom And I found this version on Peacock tonight and we loved it
