I think this is when Archie went missing for several episodes. It was a 3 part series where Archie went away to some conference but never called Edith. Edith has a Tupperware party and the end of the series Archie shows up. He was not appearing so the script allowed them to continue. It was filmed early in the season but aired mid or late season out of sequence.
