Cybill (https://web.archive.org/web/20061031125247/http://www.jumptheshark.com/c/cybill.htm) is my least favorite of all the shows we’re spotlighting in this second Sitcom Tuesday sweep back through the 1990s. I hate to start on such a negative note, but my analysis on this blog is about finding the best of each series — measuring it against itself — and then also determining where I think it resides in the genre, measuring it alongside others (especially from the same era). And I’m afraid that I think Cybill (https://web.archive.org/web/20140406114419/http://forums.televisionwithoutpity.com/topic/3154462-cybill/?view=getnewpost) is weak by comparison.
