On the episode of "Friends" that I saw last night, the doctor that delivered Febee's babies loved Fonzie. During the delivery they turned on the TV and the Happy Days theme song began to play. The doctor told Febee that this was the episode were Fonzie plays the bongos. But I remember that that episode started with the theme song "Rock Around the Clock." Could someone help me out with this please?

I dunno, 'cause I haven't seen the episode where Fonzie plays the bongos (that's the one at the Leopard Lodge Dance, isn't it?). But I did catch that episode of Friends, and it was pretty funny. I liked when the doctor said, "You know, Fonzie dated triplets." And Chandler said, "This Fonzie person... is this another doctor?" "Oh no. Fonzie is the nickname of Arthur Fonzarelli. The Fonz." The way he said it was so funny.

I saw that same episode of Friends the other night and thought the same exact thing! Yeah, I do believe the bongo-playing episode was during the first season, so it would be the "Rock Around the Clock" theme. Something else made me go "Hmmmmmmmmm..." while I was watching that episode. The doctor told Phoebe that she should be excited because her babies would be born on Fonzie's half birthday. Was Fonzie's date of birth ever disclosed on the show? Unless he meant Henry Winkler's birthday, but that's doubtful.

Mr. C - How are you going to support my daughter? How are you going to live? How are you going to eat?
Chachi - Mr. C, after we're married something is bound to come along.
Mr. C - Yeah, and then you'll have to feed that too!

I didn't even catch that one. I thought they just meant Henry Winkler's birthday. But your right they never did mention when Fonzie's birthday really is. I confused with this one! http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/confused.gif

LOL,It's a mistake! the episode when Fonz plays the bongos is from the 2nd season, so it would have had the "Rock Around The Clock" theme, looks like someone didn't do their Happy Days homework! :bonk:

I think it was just to make the joke more accessible. I think on the whole, more people associate the HD theme somng w/Happy Days then Rock Around The Clock.
