I know the show never got that deep. It was just a silly, goofy, music-filled show, but I'm curious about their origins.

Perhaps they met when they each wanted to rent the beach house, but none could afford it on their own, so they agreed to become roommates. From there, they became a band, too. I don't know. What are your thoughts?
