As I've gotten older I am much more Aggressive and certainly hardly Passive.

On the aggression, I know when tp get out of a situation that is going no where. And to make points without a storm effect.

I know plenty who are Passive/Aggressive and here is a summary of this Trait.

I have significant reservations about some of the criteria they claim to be problematic.

Such as "saying nothing at all"...... yeah yeah, heard it several times "indifference is a sin" and such things. Couldn't it just as easily be a product of "didn't have the heart to tell them the truth" as in "didn't want to hurt their feelings"?

I have similar misgivings about several other of their criteria, but the preceding makes a failrly good example of what I'm thinking.

Aggressive, there is nothing passive/aggressive about me. I do not hold back, and will tell you upfront how I feel etc.

I've seen a situation where the sender has omitted a person who needed to know from a group email--twice. Forcing the person who did not get it (and had to rely on a third party to forward it) to politely ask the sender to include them on future emails.

Knowing the personal situation, I'm pretty sure it was a purposeful omission.

And that need to deal immediately with the digital device--while in the middle of a face to face conversation--is flat-out rude.
