The bedroom would have been right over the kitchen.

Sometimes it really seemed like it could have been an actual two story set which they filmed in. The girls bedroom across the hall could have been over the den, and both that bedroom and the den had angled corners with five or six sides, unlike the boys bedroom which was standard rectangular shape.

Maybe they agreed to keep quiet about the set, assuming it existed, as a precaution to keep snooping fans away.

Do you know what episode that is from? I dont remember ever seeing a glass sliding door in the parent's bedroom. But for some reason it could be. A few episodes we see deep into the master bathroom and see a sink I think. We know the girl's room is over the yard/patio area because a few episodes. When Jan steals the mouse, she looks out the window towards the garage. Also when Bobby slips off the ladder, he is pulled through the window in the girls' room.

Personally I am just as curious about the interior of the original house. Fortunately someone took these pictures, and at 3 minute mark you can see that there actually was a second floor deck outside a bedroom, with a sliding door. I thought it was so cool.
