I Remember that Roots was mentioned on Good Times. Most of us know that John Amos went on to appear in Roots. How clever would it have been for the show to make a joke about how there was someone in it that looked like Daddy James. Would have got one of the biggest laughs on a show ever. Lol happy days did something similar when they had the Andy Griffith show on the TV in a episode.
