There has been several discussions this week concerning a long gone retailer, Service Merchandise, and one that appears to be hanging on by its thumbs, Tuesday Morning, but how adding to that list one that is actually on the way back from the dead, Ames Department Stores. The chain shut down in 2002 but is making a comeback in 2023 opening 7 stores in Connecticut, New York and Pennsylvania!

All the good old great stores are about gone, Bezos the blame????
