A new fan fiction for your enjoyment


Teddy glanced at his watch as he pulled in the hospital parking lot. Teddy thought to himself I hope everything is alright with Jinny’s dad. She hasn’t called so that has to be a good sign. Teddy locked the doors and headed for the hospital entrance as he was not happy with his boss for not letting him out of court today so he could have been here for Jinny when she needed him. When she had stopped by at the office she looked so tired. Allen can just like it or not he was not coming in tomorrow. He had sick time built up might as well use them. Teddy walked to the nurse’s desk and asked for Exstead.
The nurse asked, “Are you family?”
“He is my fiancé’s father.”
The nurse said, “Mr. Exstead is in room 640, which daughter is your fiancé?
“Jinny.”
The nurse replied, “She is back with her father. You go down to the elevators and up to the 6th floor take a left when you get off the elevators and it is down that hall.”
“Thanks.”
Theodore headed for the elevators and pressed the up button. Just as the elevator dinged Teddy was getting ready to walk on as Jinny was getting off.
Jinny said, “Hey.”
“Hey how did the surgery go? Sorry I couldn’t get away sooner.”
“Dad made it thru it. I was just coming down to call Casey and John Jr. to let them know he was back from recovery. I understand you couldn’t get out of court today.”
“But I would have been here for you if I could have.”
“I know. So were you coming up to find me?”
“Yeah the nurse told me the room number.”
“How did you manage that one it is family only?”
“Well I kind of told them you were my fiancé.”
Jinny smiled as she said, “I see and just when were you planning on asking me?”
“Well that can be arranged.”
“I was only teasing.”
“I wasn’t.”

“Teddy I just have had to face the fact my father had another daughter and a grandson that I didn’t know about and him having a heart attack with surgery to fix it. Can we let things settle down a little first?”
“Sure Jinny I shouldn’t have pushed.”
“You didn’t push. You are here even though you know all about my family and I appreciate it.”
“Where else would I be?”
“I appreciate it.”
“I love you Jin that has never changed. I will be here for you as long as you need me.” Teddy leaned down and kissed Jinny softly as the nurse that had helped Teddy looked on. The elevator dinged and Ronnie walked off seeing Jinny and this guy in the front lobby in each other’s arms. Ronnie cleared her throat as the couple seemed oblivious to their surroundings. Ronnie felt like an intruder in this scenario but she could see that this guy made Jinny happy. Ronnie tried one more time to clear her throat as Jinny and Teddy pulled apart slowly.
Ronnie said, “Sorry just wanted to let you know I was going to go home to check on Matthew and I will be back.”
“Fine.”
“Is this your fellow?”
Teddy took Jinny’s hand as he said, “I am Jinny’s fiancé.”
Jinny looked up at him as she said, “Ronnie this is Theodore, Theodore this is Veronica…Ronnie as she likes to be called and she is dad’s other daughter.” Ronnie said, “Nice to meet you.” Jinny said, “I should get back up with Dad so someone is there when he wakes.”
“Not without me you don’t.”

Jinny and Teddy walked to the elevators as Ronnie said, “I will be back later.”
“Fine.”
Teddy punched the button for the elevator as Ronnie turned and walked to the exit. Theodore said, “That is Ronnie?”
“Yeah she was here earlier and tried to tell me I cause Dad’s heart attack.”
“Oh no she didn’t say that. I will have to have a little talk with her.”
“She also came back with Dad’s will she said her mother had it and Dad wanted to be buried next to her mother.”
“What gives her the right to try to hurt you anymore than she already has.”
The elevator opened as Jinny and Teddy got on and pushed the 6th floor button.
Jinny said, “Can we talk about something else. Like maybe how many people are you going to tell I am your fiancé?”
Theodore smiled at Jinny as he said, “Well we want the nurses to think that I am and if I didn’t say that she might say something.”
“I suppose that is true. We have to talk about this though after Dad is out of the hospital okay.”
“Whatever your little heart desires.” Jinny smiled at Teddy as the elevator doors opened and Magda walked on the elevator.
Magda said, “Hey how is your dad?”
“He came thru surgery and is back in the room. But he hasn’t come out of the anesthetic yet. How is Ben.”
“You wouldn’t believe how many people have been tested already to be a bone marrow donor for him.”
“Why are you so surprised?”

The couple walked down the hall as Jinny said, “Not officially huh? What does that mean?”
“We are going to talk about it remember after you Dad is out of the hospital.”

“How long has he been back from recovery?”
“Almost an hour now. I still need to call John Jr. and Casey and let them know he is out of surgery.”
“How much sleep have you had?”

Jinny picks up the phone and dials a number waiting for an answer she looks at Teddy and asks “Why?”
“Just worried about you is all.”
“Casey yeah dad is out of surgery and is back in his room from recovery.”
Casey said, “How long has he been back?”
“About an hour. Would you mind calling John Jr. and letting him know?”
“I can do that. What did the doctors say?”
“The doctor said everything went well in surgery they did the bi-pass without any complications.”
“Okay I will be up in about an hour. Are you there all alone?”
“You can take your time getting here I am not going anywhere until Dad wakes up. No I am not alone.”
“Is Ronnie up there?”
“No she left to go check on Matthew.”
“If Ronnie left and John Jr. isn’t there who is there with you?”
“Teddy came up when he got out of court.”
“Oohh I see. I thought it was family only.”
“It is.”
“Anything you are keeping from us?
”No Casey, Teddy told the nurse that he was my fiancé is all.”
“So congratulations are in order.”
“We are not engaged Case. But Teddy told Ronnie we were so can you just pretend that we are.”
“You don’t have to worry about me spilling anything, should I tell John Jr.”
“No just tell him we are engaged is all.”
“What are you going to tell him when he asks when the wedding is.”

Jinny hung up the phone as she turned around she saw Theodore looking at her she said, “Long story I will tell you later okay.”
“Fine but one question do you and your brothers always talk like that to each other?”
Jinny laughed as she replied, “That is nothing compared to the way we usually talk to each other.”
“I see. Why don’t you try to get some rest. I will keep an eye on your dad and wake you when he wakes up.”
“You sure you don’t mind?”
“Jin I don’t mind. This chair over here looks like it reclines. We can pull it over to this side and you can lay back and get some rest.”
“Where are you going to sit then?”
”I was thinking about joining you in the recliner. I can hold you while you rest and keep an eye on your dad at the same time.”
“I see and there is not an ulterior motive involved at all?”
“Other that getting to hold you in my arms.”
“Un huh I figured you got something out of it.”
“Just the pleasure of holding you. Sorry about not being able to get away earlier to be here for you.”
”Don’t worry about it I know how your boss can be.”
Teddy moved the little chairs to the other side and brought the recliner over as he sit down and held out his hand for Jinny to join him. Once Jinny had Teddy pushed the recliner back and wrapped his arms around Jinny as she laid her head on his shoulder. Teddy kissed Jinny on top of her head as he said, “Try to rest I will wake you when he wakes.”
“Wake me also when Casey gets here okay.”
“Okay now try to rest please.”
“Yes counselor.”

CD and Brian had just left her apartment on the way to his to get his bags and the next stop was the airport. CD looked at Brian as he was driving before asking, “Does your ex wife and son know we are taking a vacation together.”
“I told them where we could be reached at for any emergency purposes.”
“What time is the flight?
“We have plenty of time. Why?”
“I was just wondering if we could stop by the hospital?”
“You want to check on Magda and her son?”
“That and Jinny’s dad had a heart attack last night. I wanted to see how he was doing also.”
“I didn’t know. Do you know him well?”
“Not really, he was a police officer also, along with her brothers. But I want to see how Jinny is holding up.”
“Sure we have plenty of time to stop. I guess police work runs in her family.”
“You could say that.”
Brain pulled into the parking lot as he and CD made their way up to his apartment to get his luggage.

Kate had just finished packing. She thought to herself she deserved this time off and she shouldn’t feel guilty for taking it. She was going to show Charles what it is like when she is not there. She only hoped that it was the right thing. She closed the last suitcase as she looked at her escort and said, “I just have to call and let Amanda know where I am going then I will be ready. If you want to take these downstairs I will join you in a moment.” Her escort nodded as he picked up her bags and headed for the living room. Kate picked up the phone and dialed Amanda’s number as she waited for someone to answer she questioned if she was doing the right thing one more time. “Hey Jill is Amanda there?”
“Just a minute Mrs. McCafferty.”
“You can call me Kate Jill.”
“Thanks Kate I will get Amanda.”
Kate waited for Amanda to come to the phone as listened to the silence on the other end she said, “Stop beating yourself up for taking vacation you have coming to you.”
Amanda replied, “What Mom?”
“Sorry honey I was just thinking out loud.”
“Is everything okay?”
“Of course sweetie. I was just calling to let you know I am going on a little vacation.”
“Great it is about time you take some of that vacation time you have built up. Going with anyone in particular?”
“Yeah I am going with someone.”
“It wouldn’t be dad would it?”

Kate hung up the phone and headed towards the door and all the uncertainty that lay ahead. She would take things as they came for the next two weeks and if she was really enjoying herself she may stay longer. As she walked down the steps she said “That is done now just have to stop by the hospital on the way to the airport.”
“Anything wrong?”
“No I just want to check on two of my inspectors.”
“Are they in the hospital?”
“No Magda’s son has leukemia and they are trying to find a donor, so I was going to get tested while I am there and Jinny’s dad had a heart attack last night and he is a retired police officer. Hope you don’t mind waiting?”
“No do what you have to do. I can drop you off at the hospital and head to my place to get my stuff and you can call me when you are ready.”
“Shall we?”
“The luggage is already in the trunk. If you are ready then so am I.”
Kate locked the door as they headed for the car awaiting them.

Raina walked down the corridor of the hospital heading towards the where the nurse had directed her for the bone marrow testing. She had become an inspector today and still couldn’t believe she passed the test. As she rounded the corner she saw CD standing in line with Brian. Raina walked towards up and said, “I thought you two were on your way to the airport by now?”
CD replied, “We decided to stop by and get tested first and see how Mag and Jin are holding up. I thought you would be out celebrating becoming an inspector.”
“That comes later. I wanted to stop be her first before going over to see my mothers.”
“I bet they are proud their daughter made inspector?”
“You could say that, they want to throw me a big party.”
“Good for them.”
“Have you heard how Jinny’s dad is doing yet?”
“No we stopped to get tested first then we were going to check on both Magda and Jinny.”

Kate replied, “Looks like that is what we are all doing here.”
Raina relied, “Cap I just wanted to thank you for being there for me today and the little party.”
“My pleasure Raina. You will do just fine. I guess I should let you know I am also going on vacation.”
CD replied, “About time you used up some of that vacation you have hoarded. Would DC Haysbert have something to do with your decision.”
”Look whose talking about hoarded vacation. NO DC Haysbert didn’t have anything to do with this decision.”
Raina said, “Are you going alone.”
“Not exactly.”
“Oohh are you going with Ross or Louis.”
“Not going their Raina.”
CD replied, “Well have fun Cap, say when we are done with the bone marrow testing we can wait and we can all go check on Magda and Jinny together if you would like to accompany us and Raina.”
“Sounds good to me.”
Raina replied, “How long are you going to be on vacation Cap?”
“Haven’t decided how long I am going to be gone. You will do fine with the Captain that covers for me.”
CD replied, “What if DC Haysbert decides he will cover for you.”
“You all will do just fine.”
Magda rounded the corner, as she couldn’t believe how many people were getting tested. She was overwhelmed with the outcome. She looked up and saw CD, Brian, Raina and Captain just getting done being tested. Magda walked up and said, “Thanks guys I really appreciate all of this.
Kate replied, “Your welcome. How are you holding up? How is Ben?”
“Ben is sleeping finally Gabe is with him and I was just going to go check and see if there was any more news on Jinny’s dad.”
CD replied, “Has he come out of surgery yet?”
“Last time I talked to Jinny he was back in his room but he hadn’t come out of the anesthetic yet. So I was going to see if there was any news yet.”

Magda replied, “Captain.”
“What if it works why not use it.”
The group headed for the elevators as CD said, “I am sure Mag with all the people that are being tested they are sure to find a match and Ben will be better in no time.”
”I can only hope that they find a match.”
Kate said, “I do know they sent the flyers to all the precincts just hold on to your faith Mag.”
The elevator stopped on the 6th floor as the group started for the nurse’s station as Kate was in the lead she asked directions to John Exstead’s room as the nurse replied, “Are you all family?”
“Kate replied, “I am Captain of the Central Station Felony Division. John’s daughter is one of my inspectors and we wanted to see how he was doing.”
The nurse replied, “I can’t really let you go back there it is family only per the doctor’s instructions.”
“Is the doctor available?”
The nurse replied, “Your not going to take no for an answer are you?’
“Not today?”
The nurse looked at the chart and saw the doctor’s name as she called his pager she said, “I can’t guarantee that he will let you in.”
“When you get him on the phone just let me talk to him.”
The nurse replied, “That is against the rules.”
“Do you want to see my badge?’
The nurse replied, “No Ma’am that won’t be necessary.”
The phone rang as the group talked amongst themselves. The nurse said, “The doctor is on the phone Ma’am.”
Kate took the phone as she said, “Are you the doctor for John Exstead?”
The doctor replied, “Yes how can I help you?”
“John’s daughter Jinny is one of my inspectors at the Central Station Felony Division and a few of her fellow inspectors and myself would like permission to check on her and her dad for a few minutes. I know that it is family only but it would be greatly appreciated if you could perhaps bend the rules for say 15 minutes.”
The doctor replied, “How many are we talking about.”
“There are 5 of us.”
The doctor said, “I really shouldn’t allow this but maybe it would be good for John to see some fellow officers also. I will give the nurse my permission for 20 minutes only. IF you hand the phone back to the nurse she will give you the room number as soon as she is finished.”
“Thank you doctor.” Kate handed the phone back to the nurse as she turned and said, “The doctor gave us 20 minutes tops.”
Raina said, “That is why you are they Captain.”
CD replied, “Nice going Cap.”
The nurse got off the phone as she said, “You have 20 minutes only and the room number is 640.”
Kate replied, “Thank you and which way to the room.

The nurse pointed to the second door on the left as she returned to her seat.
The group made their way to the door the nurse had pointed to as they opened the door they found Jinny asleep in Theodore’s arms in the recliner.
Teddy said, “Hey guys.”
Kate said, “How is she doing?”
Jinny stretched as she looked up at the group in front of her she replied, “How did you guys get in?”
Magda said, “She threatened the nurse to use her badge if she didn’t let her talk to the doctor for permission.”
“Way to use your authority their Cap. I will have to remember that one.”
“It worked didn’t it. Just don’t go abusing it. So how are you doing and how is your dad?’
“I am good and dad came thru surgery fine.” Jinny looked at Teddy as they sat up and said, “He hasn’t woken up yet has he?”
Teddy replied, “He hasn’t moved since you went to sleep.”
“They said it might be a few hours before he started coming around. Thanks everyone for coming. How is Ben Mag?”
“He finally went to sleep and I ran into these guys getting tested in the hallway on my way up to see how your dad is doing. So we all came up together.”
“I thought you were going on vacation CD?”
“I am we just stopped by on the way to the airport to get tested and check on how Magda and you were holding up.”
“Thanks guys. Raina why aren’t you out celebrating?”
“I am going over to my moms later for a get together.”
Teddy looked at Jinny as she said, “Raina made inspector today.”
Theodore replied, “Congratulations.”
“Thanks.”
Kate said, “So tell me something Mr. Blumenthal if it is family only how did you manage to get by the nurses?”
“I told the nurse Jinny was my fiancé.”
“Are congratulations in order?”
Jinny replied, “No we aren’t engaged.”
Mag replied, “Not officially anyways isn’t that what you said earlier Teddy?”
Jinny said, “Thanks Mag.”
Raina said, “I see when is it becoming official?”
Theodore said, “We agreed we would discuss it when Jinny’s dad got better and was out of the hospital.”
John Sr. said, “When were you planning on telling me this Jinny?”

Jinny got up and went to her father’s side as she said, “Nothing is official yet dad.”
“What are you waiting for to make it official?”
“We agreed to talk about it after you were out of the hospital.”
“I heard that but why wait?”
“One thing at a time dad.”
“Nonsense if you two are in love there is no need to wait to get engaged.”
“Captain McCafferty and a few inspectors dropped by to see how you are dad.”
“I see that and I am sore but I am here. Now introduce me to that young man of yours.”
“Dad this is Theodore Blumenthal. Teddy this is my dad John Exstead.”
Theodore replied, “Nice to meet you sir.”
John Sr. accepted his hand as he said, “Nice to meet you also what are you intentions with my daughter young man? And what do you do for a living?”
Jinny said, “Dad I think you have had enough excitement for one day.”
“I am fine. Now Theodore what is your intentions.”
“If you daughter will have me I would like to marry her and I am a ADA.”
“Well Jinny girl answer the man.”
“We will talk about it later I will give him an answer then.”
“Teddy let me know if she does.”
“Dad you are supposed to be resting.”
“I am fine. Kate how are you?”
“Just fine John and you look pretty good for just having surgery.”

Jinny said, “Thanks for the offer Casey but Dad just woke up.”
Casey said, “I am Casey Jinny’s younger brother by the way.”
Jinny replied, “Sorry Case this is Teddy Blumenthal. Teddy this is Casey.”
Theodore extended his hand as he said, “It is nice to meet you.”
Casey said, “Nice to meet you also. So you want to marry Jinny temper and all.”
Theodore replied, “If she will have me.”
Jinny said, “Can we discuss this later?”
John Sr. said, “Theodore why don’t you take Jinny home and make sure she gets some sleep tonight.”
Theodore said, “That sounds like a good idea.”
Jinny replied, “I am not ready to leave yet.”
John Sr. replied, “You have been here all last night and most of the day haven’t you?”
Jinny said, “I went to the station for a while this morning and over to the house afterwards.”
John Sr. said, “I am fine the doctors are going to tell me I need some rest so why don’t you and that young man of yours go and discuss this engagement. I expect a full report in the morning also.”
Jinny replied, “I am not going to win this am I.”
John Sr. replied, “No Jinny girl.”
Jinny said, “Fine as she walks over and gives her dad a hug she says, “Get some rest dad and I love you.”
John Sr. replied, “Get some rest yourself Jinny girl I love you.”
Jinny walked over and gave Casey a hug and said, “Call me if you need to.”
Casey said, “I don’t think we will but alright. I think I can manage watching out for Dad go home and rest.”
Theodore replied, “I will make sure she gets some rest. Glad to meet you just wish it had been under different circumstances.”
Jinny said, “Oh by the way Ronnie stopped by earlier and she is supposed to be back after she went to check on Matthew.”
John Sr. replied, “Are you guys trying to get along with her?”
Jinny said, “We let her see you that is a start, but don’t expect any miracles. Are you ready to go Teddy?”
Teddy replied, “Ready when you are.”
John Sr. said, “Goodnight get some sleep.”

CD and Brian had arrived at the airport with plenty of time to spare as they checked into the ticket counter and had received their boarding passes the couple made they way to Gate C-15 to await the departure of their plane. CD said, “I am glad Teddy is there for Jinny,”
“Have they been together long.”
“They dated last year for a while and then they had broken up they must have gotten back together.”
“Well if it is any consolation he genuinely cares about her.”
”You could tell that?”
“Yeah as a lawyer you learn to notice things and he is very much in love with Jinny.”
“You are so smart is the feeling mutual?
“Are you asking if Jinny loves him?”
“Yes that is what I am asking. Jinny deserves some happiness for a change.”
“She is in love with him also.”
“How can you tell?”
“They say the eyes are the window to our souls. When they were talking to each other their eyes light up.”
”So you are basing this on their eyes lighting up when they talk to each other.”
“More than that. It is the gestures and the eyes.”
“So tell me this Brian do your eyes light up when you talk to me?”
“Hmmm you tell me.”
“I think you are avoiding the question.”

Raina pulled up outside her mothers house s she turned off the car she looked at the house that she had grown up in. She didn’t know what her first day as an inspector was going to hold or who was going to be her partner but she knew that she was ready for it.
Raina got out of the car and walked up the path to the door as she opened the door the lights went on and people yelled Surprise. Raina screamed “Oh my”
Raina’s mothers came up and hugged and saying their congratulations along with everyone else there.
Ms. Washington said, “My baby is an inspector now for the San Francisco police I am so proud.”
“I know I passed isn’t that something. I did it.”
“I knew you could do it baby.”
Ms. Matthews said, “Oh baby you have made us so proud.”
“Really Mom?”
“Of course we are so proud of our little girl.”
“Thanks Mom.”
“Well let’s get this party on the road shall we.”

Nate opened the door to his little apartment, as he knew he had a little too much to drink this evening. He couldn’t believe CD had actually went on vacation with Brian. Maybe she will find some things out about him that she can’t live with. He knew that was a long shot but it was about the only chance he had of having a chance to win her heart. Nate walked into the bathroom and turned on the shower as he went into the bedroom to put up his gun and badge. Nate knew the shower would do him good after all that drinking he had done. He needed the time to think about why the woman he loved went off with another man on vacation. He knew the answer to that cause he had never told her how he felt. But how could he when she was seeing Brian.

Kate was on the plane holding hands with her partner as the two watched the movie playing. In a few hours they would be on a sandy beach looking out over the ocean. Kate thought to herself DC Haysbert deserved her going on vacation after all of this. He was such a male chauvinist pig. She had worked with plenty of male co workers and she had managed to get along with each and every one of them until him. She didn’t take what he threw at her and he knew it. She stood up for her rights and she deserved this vacation. Then why did she feel guilty for taking it. Goodness knows she had the time coming.
“Penny for your thoughts.”
“I was just thinking maybe I should have stayed and took vacation later.”
“Nonsense you work hard and deserve this vacation. They can survive with out you for a short time.”
“That is what I am afraid of.”
“IF you really want we can go back.”
“No we are going on vacation and that is the way it is. DC Haysbert will just have to deal with it.”

First thank you for the kind words. I am glad taht you are enjoying my fan fic. Yes I think you should write a fan fic. I wasn't sure when I started writing either but some people and they know who they are convinced me to write. I still wonder if I should be. But do write a fan fic.

Yes you should be writing. And if you're wondering why I haven't been reading your fan fic and posting on it lately, it's because my time on here is limited more now. But once I start working and getting my life in order and all, I will have even less time to work on here , but I will also have my life more in order, which means I will be able to set more of a time schedule and be on here around the same time everyday so I'll be able to time myself better, and get more done. But Jeanie, I will catch up on your writing, AND Miranda's AND write more on mine lol! I just don't get much time anymore my mom is always giving me like an hour here and there, so it's hard. But I plan on buying my own computer. Which will take care of EVERYTHING! lol I get 400 bucks every two weeks which is fine with me! lol I just need to learn to budget my money better. Cuz once I get my check I pay my bills and the rest is gone in like one day! lol But anyways, so now ya know, and I'm shutting up now before this gets longer! lol Bye for noe

Jinny retrieved her keys from her jacket as Teddy took them and unlocked the door. Once inside Jinny looked at Theodore and asked, “Do you want something to eat or drink?”
“No I am fine, you however have been quiet all the way here, you ok?”
“Yeah I was just thinking what has happened in the past few days.”
“Want to talk about it?”
“Dad told me today that my mom was clinical depressed, John Jr., Casey and I were talking about how we never heard her laugh. I think he was right. Casey also said he never thought he would have a nephew and John Jr. reminded me that my biological clock was ticking. I have a sister that I only found out about a few days ago and a nephew. Dad had a heart attack and triple bi-pass surgery. I also was thinking that maybe I am like my mom.”
“A lot has happened in the last few days and I just added to it by proposing didn’t I?”
“Teddy.”
“Jin let me finish. I am sorry I should have waited. As for you being like your mom if you think that you are clinically depressed like her we can make an appointment for you to see somebody. I will be here for you every step of the way though just know that.”
“Thanks Teddy. As for the proposal that came out of left field. I wasn’t expecting it.
“Forget I ever brought it up.”
Jinny smiled as she said, “Kind of a little late for that now isn’t it Dad is expecting an answer in the morning.”
“We can always say that we decided with everything that is going on now is not the best time.”

Jinny put her hand on the side of Teddy’s face as she leaned up and softly kissed his lips, that quickly turned passionate. Teddy’s arm went around Jinny and pulled her closer to him on the couch. Jinny’s hand went to the back of Teddy’s head and pulled him closer deepening the kiss even more as she straddled his lap bringing them still closer. Teddy’s hand went up her the back of her shirt putting his hands in the small of her back and pulling her closer to him. Jinny found her way to Teddy’s neck kissing it then nipping at it gently. Teddy started his own trek with his hands up her back and around to the sides reaching his destination when he felt Jinny arch her body against his, he smiled as he gently caressed Jinny’s body with his hands. Jinny finally pulled back from Teddy and looked up into his eyes. Teddy was the first to speak as he said, “If we keep this up we won’t make it to the bedroom.”
“Hmm Counselor where is your sense of adventure?”
“Oh I see you want a sense of adventure huh”
“Something like that”
Teddy put his hand on the side of her face and covered her mouth with his own. The kiss quickly deepened as Jinny moaned softly. Teddy pulled Jinny’s sweater up as he pulled back to discard the article of clothing. Teddy found Jinny’s neck as he returned the favors she had done on his neck. Jinny’s hands roamed down Teddy’s chest finding her destination. Teddy worked his way back up to capture Jinny’s mouth. The kiss quickly escalating Teddy leaning back on the couch bringing Jinny with him. Jinny’s hands found the buttons on his shirt undoing the three top buttons Jinny reached down pulling Teddy’s shirt out of his pants and over his head breaking the kiss. Teddy looked at Jinny and saw the same passion in her eyes that he knew was in his. Teddy reached up pulling Jinny to him covering her mouth exploring every corner. Jinny’s hands found their way to Teddy’s chest where she softly caressed his chest. Teddy undid the hook that held her bra on, sliding it off her shoulders adding it to the rest of the clothes on the floor. Teddy made his way to Jinny’s jeans undoing the button sliding the zipper down, Jinny arching against him as he did. Jinny ran her hands down to Teddy’s pants undoing the button, sliding the zipper down in the process feeling the effects that her ministrations on Teddy had aroused. Teddy brought his hands up under Jinny’s arms and gently laid her back on the couch as he rose and slid her pants the rest of the way off. Teddy looked at Jinny laying on the couch in her lace panties as he quickly discarded his own pants. Teddy lowered himself on top of Jinny holding his weight up with his hands, slowly and tenderly kissing her neck and working his way down her body. Jinny was losing her self-control as Teddy made his way back up to capture her lips. Jinny quickly deepened the kiss running her hands up his back. Teddy’s self-control was slowly slipping away also. Reaching down Teddy removed Jinny’s panties and his boxers quickly as he lowered himself on top of her joining them together as one as Jinny arched up to meet Teddy.

Both you, AND Miranda I don't see any new posts on A Routine either! :p Then again, I DO need to start from the begining still. lol I got my work cut out for me. HeeHeeHee I know look who's talking right? Well, once my job decides to give me a steady schedule instead of a spuratic one, and once people stop going online at my house all the time, I will be able to possibly finish my fan fic, and start another one. Teddy responded by capturing Jinny’s mouth with his own taking Jinny by surprise. Jinny moved her head slightly to the right deepening the kiss even more. Several minutes later Teddy broke the kiss causing both to take a breath when they parted. Teddy looked at Jinny for several seconds before getting up off the couch as he said, “If it is a challenge you want then the artist needs more space to work.” Teddy leaned down and picked Jinny up in his arms starting for the bedroom as Jinny placed gently yet seductive kisses on his neck before working her way to his earlobe and gently nipping at the edges of his earlobe. Working her way to his lips every so lightly kissing the corners and running her tongue along his bottom lip teasing him with what was to come. Teddy reached the bed and laid Jinny down in the middle of the bed. Teddy turned to light the candles on the night stand as Jinny sat up and ran her hands up and down his back working her way to his chest as Teddy lite the last candle turning around on the bed Jinny meet him with a kiss on his chest as she pushed Teddy back on the bed Jinny straddled Teddy and begin her trek on his chest gently kissing his chest, Teddy’s hands roaming over Jinny’s body he turned Jinny over on her back exploring her body with his hands as he lowered himself on Jinny starting his on exploration of her body. Jinny took a deep breath as Teddy continued his exploration of her body. Teddy worked hi way back up Jinny’s body as he neared Jinny’s lips she raised up and meet his lips with a kiss that surprised Teddy. Teddy and Jinny continued to give each other something much more organic as Teddy lowered himself on top of Jinny making them one as Jinny wrapped her legs around his waist. Jinny caressed Teddy’s back as they continued pleasing each other until she lost all her self-control sinking her fingernails in his shoulders as Teddy soon lost his self-control and joined Jinny. The couple lay in each other’s arms their breathing becoming slow and even as the moonlight peered through the window and the couple feel asleep in each other’s arms.

Raina was seated at her desk as Nate walked into the station this morning looking a little worse for wear. Nate headed for the coffee as Raina said, “Morning Inspector Basso.”

“It is after all my first day as an Inspector. Weren’t you a little excited your first day as an Inspector?”
“Yeah I guess I was.”
“Have a rough night there?’

Magda comes into the station as Raina turns to see her and asks, “Why are you here I thought you would be at the hospital with Ben?”
Mag replies, “I just stopped by to pick up my case files that need some finishing touches while Ben is sleeping.”
“You know that one of use could have brought them over for you.”
“Yeah I know but I just needed to get out for a little bit. Ben has been so good having to be at the hospital for this long.”
“You know if you need anything just let us know right.”
“Thanks I know that. Have you heard from Jinny?”
“No I thought you would have seen her at the hospital.”
“I went and checked on the her dad and Casey said Teddy and her went home last night.”
“Well she hasn’t been by here yet. I will tell her you are looking for her if I see her.”
“Thanks, I need to get back to check on Ben.”
“Of course, let me know if there is anything I can do okay.”
“Okay but you are doing enough. Any news on who is taking Cap’s place while she is on vacation?’
Nate heard this and asked, “Cap is on vacation?”
Magda said, “She stopped by the hospital and said not to worry about it she had informed DC Haysbert that Jinny nor I would be in for a while.”
“Guess I missed quite a bit huh?”
“Most everyone showed up to be tested for Ben’s bone marrow.”
“I am sorry I should have stopped by. How is he doing anyways?”
“Hanging in there.”
“I will come by and be tested also.”
“Thanks Nate. Looks like since your partner is on vacation and Jinny and I are out you will get to work with our newest Inspector here. Go easy on her.”
“Raina replied. “I can handle myself not to worry. I have been waiting for Cap’s replacement to come in for the assignments.”
Magda replied, “Quite eager I see.”
“Of course I am more than ready for my first case as an Inspector.”
“You will do just fine. Good luck, I really need to get back though before Ben wakes up.”

Jinny stirred in her sleep as she rolled over and found the bed empty. She opened her eyes and looked around not seeing any sign of Teddy. Jinny looked around and found Teddy's shirt as she put the shirt as she walked towards the living room as Teddy was coming back from the kitchen with coffee for him and Jinny.
Jinny said, "Was wondering where you disappeared to?"
"Thought you might like some coffee to wake up with since we had a rather late night and all."
"Thanks, what time is it anyways."
"It was 8:00 am."
"We still have to shower and get to the hospital to see Dad."
Jinny sat down on the bed as Teddy reached into the nightstand as he retrieved a little box that he had placed there earlier this morning.
Jinny looked at Teddy as she asked, "What are you up to counselor?"
Teddy took the little black box from the nightstand and went down on bended knee as he took Jinny's hand in his as he said, "Jinny, you came back in my life and have made it complete I love you. I want to make this a lasting relationship. I want to be able to see you the last thing when I go to sleep and the first thing when I wake up in the morning. I want to share my entire life with you, from kids to grandkids and more. When I win a case in court all I want to do is pick up the phone and call you and let you know that I won. And when I lose in court you are there to console me. When you solve a case I want to be there to share that with you and when you are in the process of trying to figure out who and what on a case I want to be there for you thru everything. I can't not picture you in my life. Would you do me the honor Jinny of becoming my wife, to share with me all the best times to come and even the bad times as long as we are together we can overcome anything. You will make me the happiest person alive if you will do me the honor of marrying me.
"Teddy, I love you I couldn't have said that the first time we were together even though I had never felt for anyone like I did when I was with you... I just couldn't bring myself to say those words... cause I never thought I was worthy of love. Jinny looked at Teddy as he opened the little black box to show her a very unique engagement ring. It had two bands joined but yet separated in the middle on the top with diamonds on the top of the two bands. Teddy took Jinny’s left ring finger positioning the ring at the end of her ring finger looking up at Jinny for her acceptance of his proposal.
Jinny took her right hand and put it on the side of Teddy’s face as she said,

“Your right I know. Maybe this afternoon after we tell your family we can stop by my parents and give them the good news?”
“I don’t think they will be as perceptive as you think they will be, after your birthday party last year.”
“Jin they only want their son happy as long as they know that you are the one that makes me happy they will be fine.”
“If you say so. We should really shower and get something to eat on the way to the hospital.”
“Good idea to conserve time and water we should shower together.”
“Oh we should should we?”
“It would save time we would both be ready to leave after we got out.”
“Or we would be even later getting to the hospital, which might not be a bad thing.”

Magda walked into Ben’s room seeing her son sleeping peacefully along with Gabe sleeping in the chair next to Ben’s bed. Mag walked over to her son and pulled the blanket up on his small body, then she pulled the blanket off the end of the bed and laid it gently over Gabe. Magda sat on the bottom of Ben’s bed watching him sleep deep in thought as Gabe woke and looked up at Mag sitting on the bed.
Gabe said, “A penny for your thoughts.”
Mag sat there looking at her son so young laying there fighting for his life yet he was being so brave, she was so proud of him. ‘
“What are you thinking about Mag?”
Once again Gabe’s words went by unnoticed as Mag wondered if anyone that had been tested would be a match for her son before it was to late.
Gabe stood up and put his hand gently on Mag’s shoulder as she jumped a little at the touch.
“Did I wake you?”
“No. You okay?’
“Just thinking about everything that has happened.”
“Someone has to be a match. We will find a bone marrow donor for Ben.”
“It is so hard to see him laying here so sick and wonder if there is a match for him that will save his life?”
“Have you gotten a hold of all your family to be tested?
“I called Mom and she said she would get the word out. What about your family?”
“Yeah I called them last night they will be tested at the hospital close to them and send the results here.”
“Good cause we could use a miracle about right now.”

If I'm not on in a few days, it will be because I'm in the hospital from heart failure, you know you miranda and michelle can kill a person.
