Trace Atkins had a vanilla ice cream with maple and macadamia. He called it Macadamia Maple Mash up. He was up against Penn Jillette's Magic Swirtle. Penn's had vanilla ice cream, sea salt chocolate swirl, and fudge caramel candy pieces. It was delicious! :D There was a vote for which one was the better one, and Trace's won! Penn's was so much better and Trace's was pretty much one note(Basically syrup on macadamia served in vanilla ice cream.) I can't believe Trace's disappointing ice cream won over Penn's better tasting ice cream!

The biggest paradoxical victory I can think of would be Microsoft Windows over IBM OS/2.

Windows was absolute garbage until XP (in the consumer arena) so the fact that people actually preferred windows 9x is an absolute travesty.

I guess that VHS over Betamax deserves mention, but I'm just going by popular lore, I never owned Beta myself. I didn't get around to buying VHS until "Super VHS" was the thing, so I guess I largely missed out on VHS's dark age?
