This endearingly gullible little guy was just an unnamed background character for "South Park‘s" first two seasons, but he finally got a name and a personality in the Season 3 episode “Two Guys Naked in a Hot Tub” — and he never looked back.
Painfully naďve and often the butt of jokes, Butters won fans over with his unfailing optimism and love of Benningan’s, and he became an indispensable member of the South Park gang. He even got his own theme song!
