The Return of the Jedi and Vacation are two of my favorite movies from 1983.

Octopussy was one of the WORST James Bond movies ever created! A freaking abomination (Ian Fleming was spinning in his grave when this crap was released).

Valley Girl wins for my favorite soundtrack in 1983; a lot of great music.

I chose National Lampoon's Vacation, which I just re-watched last week or so.

Superman III was a big disappointment following the first 2 Christopher Reeve films in the series.

As a Teri Garr fan, I was tempted to select Mr. Mom. One of the few films that year that I saw in a theater upon first release. Going on 40 years ago :eek:

I chose Other which is "Max Dugan Returns" oddly it is the only movie from 1983 I own on DVD

Wargames and I also like The Big Chill

WarGames is in my top 10 of the 1980s. I used to watch it all the time on cable. It's one of those movies I can never turn off. I like Return of the Jedi, National Lampoon's Vacation, Mr. Mom and A Christmas Story also.

I would include Bad Boys and Cujo in the Other category. I'm probably one of the few people who enjoyed Jaws 3-D. It's not Jaws or Jaws 2, but it's not that terrible. I like the SeaWorld setting.
