I was watching a news story yesterday and once name stood out, a man named David Pecker. That name just cracked me up. The man talking was saying like "Pecker has been in the record for saying...." "Pecker is an insider...." Everytime I heard "Pecker" I laughed.

I think if my last name was Pecker, I would have it changed. I dont think it should be insulting to a family by doing this, I just dont want to go through life with the name Pecker.

Tim Allen the actor was Tim D.ck (.=i) I went to high school with a guy with that last name was a year ahead of me in school, in the 9th grade we took PE and the coach who taught it called us all by our last names, so this poor guy was called D.ck for a year, in a 9th grade PE class.

The actor Hal Linden's real family name is Lip****z. No wonder he changed his name.

But Pecker just cracked me up.

I went to school with a guy by the last name of Slutsky, he had a sister who was teased pretty bad about it.

And there was a Dickmeyer family, we used to tease the girl about being a mire not a meyer (a bog or swamp)

There was a Fuchs family down the block....correct pronunciation was FeeYOUxxx, but we always mispronounced it for fun

Had a girl in school last name of Kuntz, correctly pronounced koootz, but invariably there would be a teacher who would mispronounce it in the worst possible way on the first day of school

We had a mayor back in the early 20th century named Harold W. Baals
