I actually like this list. I'll give my predictions tomorrow since I am heading to bed soon but will say Missy Elliott is the first woman rapped nominated and is very likely to be the first woman rapper inducted. Thrilled about Joy Division/New Order as I thought that would never happen but other bands from the British Alternative genre have been inducted in the last few years (Duran Duran, Depeche Mode, and the Cure) so I guess it is no surprise.

The 2023 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees have officially arrived.

On Wednesday morning, LL Cool J announced the artists who are set to be honored at this year's ceremony:

Sheryl Crow
Missy Elliott

Out of the final list of this year's inductees, the ones I selected in the Fan Vote were George Michael, Willie Nelson, Sheryl Crow, The Detroit Spinners, Rage Against the Machine, and Missy Elliott.

How come Cyndi Lauper isn't on the final list if she placed second in the Fan Vote (with over 900,000 votes cast) behind George Michael?

I feel like this is a weak group of inductees. Though I am happy for The Spinners and Chaka Khan. They both should’ve already been in. Also, Iron Maiden should’ve gotten in already and they got snubbed again. Maybe next year.

I went there years ago. It might have changed. The thing was - it was fun to visit it, but there wasn't much around. There was the Hall, and then when you got through visiting, there wasn't anything there.
