On the Game Show Network, I have seen Dick Sargent and Fannie Flagg on "Tattletales" which had married celebrity couples answering questions about each other. Does anybody know if Fannie and Dick were married?

I thought Fannie Flagg was referred to as Dick Sargent's wife, but never was. I thought they were each other's beards. They were friends but Dick Sargent was gay, and Fannie Flagg was a lesbian.

I think they just appeared as partners, or each other's "gal/guy". I was really surprised when Dick S. turned out to be gay precisely because I'd seen him on Tattletales when I was young. I'd forgotten that Fannie was just his "gal" and thought he'd appeared with his own wife, "Anne".
