Ever since it debuted in the 70's and then got revived in 1989 Now You See It quickly became a game show favorite for CBS. Since it's cancellation in 1989 it's hard to believe that Now You See It hasn't been thought to be rebooted and I often wondered if a new version of Now You See It would work today. Because Now You See It was a fun word search based game and I think a new version on CBS would be fun to see. The new Now You See It would have a new version of the classic Solo Game and the chance at a $50,000 grand prize and as for the host I would pick Jeff Probst or Jeff Goldblum because Jeff Goldblum would be so funny as host or Jeff Probst because he is smart and could handle this show with ease

Not unless it came back exactly like it was in the 70s!

It would be great to see a revival of Now You See It someday. It was one of the few word games from Goodson-Todman since Password and it had a great host in Jack Narz. Unfortunately, the Twin Cities did not carry the Chuck Henry version of Now You See It due to syndicated programming commitments. That incarnation came at a time when many network affiliates were carrying syndicated talk shows instead of the network feed.

I understand that Chuck Henry himself refuses to allow reruns of the 1989 version, because it diminished his persona as a newsman. Reminds me of Lou Grant saying to Ted Baxter, “You don’t wanna be a quizzzzzz-master do ya?”

If they ever remade it, they need something bigger like a 12x12 character screen, with more questions, and a scoring system that doesn’t diminish points for words in upper left! ;)
