VHS: On the VHS Box Set I Love Lucy Zany Road Trip, it is attached to “Ricky’s Contract”, “Getting Ready," “Lucy Learns To Drive” & “California Here We Come.”
DVD: On the Season 4 box set, it is attached to episodes #110-115 as well as the bonus features like flubs, guest cast information, special footage, original openings, production notes, the My Favorite Husband radio episode entitled “Giveaway Program” & Behind The Scenes: An excerpt from Laughs, Luck & Lucy, by Jess Oppenheimer.
Air Date: Mon. 1/17/55
Note: On disc 5 of the season 4 box set, there is bonus material from episodes “Ethel’s Birthday”, “First Stop”, “Tennessee Bound” & “LA At Last” that supposedly was so permanently damaged that it couldn’t be edited into the episodes (despite the existence of Windows Movie Maker.) I believe that this was fixed on the 2024 blu ray complete series box set. Also during this episode, you will notice that while in the car, in addition to the blooper where Lucy has a different coat inside the car than the one she had outside looking for Aunt Sally’s Pecan Pralines, the outside is moving very fast in comparison to Ricky’s driving.
