I reached the end of a transaction register (dated 7-2-21 to 12-31-22) for a checking account and I noticed in that time period I wrote only ONE actual check. Everything else in there either online or auto pay.

I like writing checks. Although my internet provider said if I do auto pay I could save 20.00 a month. sign me up :)

My checkbooks are obsolete. I think I might have written out one check three years ago but none since.

I don't like writing checks, but I write a rent check every month, the mgmt company is working to force us to let them in our bank accounts to collect our rent, but I will not go there.

I write a check here and there and have to deal with buying some checks every year or so. No biggie in my life.

Rarely but sometimes it's necessary.
