View Full Version : Reminder: Gloria and Fish on TV Land Today! Sitcomwriter 08-18-2002, 01:17 PM Gloria and Fish will both be on Box Sets.I'm excited because I've never seen etheir of these shows before.Get your VCR ready because I don't this will ever happen again! DarleneIllyria 08-18-2002, 06:10 PM I kind of liked the 'Gloria' show. Yeah, it wasn't 'All in the Family' but it was a good episode. I wish tvland would pick it up when they start showing Archie Bunker's Place. Mr. Shy Guy 08-18-2002, 06:48 PM :eek2: :eek2: :eek2: I can't believe I forgot all about it! I just wanted to see 'Gloria'. Don't forget everybody that an episode of "Grady" is about to be shown soon. It either shows the 26th or 27th. It is sad though that they skipped over shows like Hot L Baltimore,America2Night (Basicly the 2nd seaosn of Fernwood2Night),The Other Standford and Son Spinoffs and the hysterical animated comedy Channel Umptee-3. I kind of like the Spin Off box set idea. Maybe this will become a weekly thing and we'll all be able to see the rare stuff. I agree.Last week we got Chico and the man (Which I had never seen before) and this week we got Gloria (Which I never expected to see on TV Land!),Fish (Which I knew was coming in October or something like that but...) and Mayberry RFD (Which I had never seen before). This SHOULD be a weekly thing although they might run out of rare shows after awhile maybe they can get some rare spinoff pilots (Family Ties' Nick Spinoff,227's Jackee spinoff,etc.). Hopefully we'll get at least one rare show in a box set next week! (Crosses fingers) I guess my E-mail to TV Land worked! Sean Snow 08-19-2002, 05:41 PM I was hoping they'd air some of Norman Lear's longer running shows in the Norman Lear marathon, like "One Day at a Time" and "Archie Bunker's Place". But I'm glad they're having the marathon. I'd love to see the pilot to Leave it to Beaver and the other Gloria pilot that had Carroll O' Connor in it. |
