The spinoff mork and mindy featured the Fonz settig up Mork on a Blind Date with Laverne from laverne and Shirley in the series pilot on September 14, 1978. I aLWAYS thought that i was dreaming when i saw laverne, mork and fonzie all in the same room. In the pilot f Mork and mindy, mork went back to the 50's to get dating advice from fonzie and that's how he was set up with laverne-i can't wait to see that episode.

I can't wait either to see it. I haven't seen that episode at all but I have always wanted to see it. The episode description looks interesting.

I'm waiting patiently because i think that episode comes on in philly this week-It;s funny because i always thought it was a dream that Mork, Laverne and Fonzie were in the same room-and I think they were in the Cunningham's House-i think-i may be wrong. So you saw a clip of that episode somewhere?

Yes, the scene that you're referring to was in the hourlong pilot for the show. For some reason (that I've never understood), they neglected to release this episode on video, and this scene was not included in the word-for-word "Photo Novel" of that was released in the 70s.

Mork tells Mindy how he had been to earth before, which triggers the flashback sequence. And yes, they are in the Cunningham house. Also worth mentioning, this scene falls right in the middle of the hourlong episode, so when Laverne arrives at the door in syndication, "To Be Continued" flashes on the screen and it's resumed in the second episode.

Thanks a lot. Now i know it's not a dream-i was about 3 years old when i saw that episode and i would always say to myself_ iwonder was that a dream-Laverne,Fonzie and Mork in the same room-Do you know why they were in the Cunningham's house?

Why they were in the Cunningham house? Good question. Didn't Fonzie live over their garage? Don't remember and if I still have a copy of the episode, I have no earthly idea where it's at.

Let's see if I remember this right... Mork had originally appeared on Happy Days, which is what led to the spin-off. In the M&M Pilot, he arrives via egg at the Cunningham's front door. Fonzie answers the door and Mork pops out and reveals that he's visited Fonzie before, but he had to erase his memory (I think Mork zaps Fonzie with his finger to restore his memory of the previous visit, not sure). Anyway, he tells Fonzie that he needs to learn about dating, and knew of no better soul to teach him. So Fonzie ponders it a moment before calling Laverne. Laverne arrives and Mork spends the remainder of the scene being his goofy self, pawing at her, chasing her, and trying to stick his tongue down her throat. Perhaps it's because of all the physical comedy going on there that the scene was cut out of the book.

That sounds like a funny episodes....Is M&M on any networks like TBS, TNN, N@N, COX, UPN ???? Thanks!

I was wondering why the pilot is not on video-Well i really hope the episode comes on Monday night here in philly. The local station here in philly just showed the last episode friday night which means that Mondy should be the pilot. I will be so disgusted if they show the Mork Moves in episode instead of the pilot. The Mork Moves In Episode is after the pilot. Also i know fonzie lived over the cunninham's but that still does not explain why Laverne and Mork was in the Cunningham's House. Maybe they were on vacation-was that it?

I don;t think TBS or TNN will air Mork and Mindy because the sitcom was too short lived-Since it only lasted 4 years, it may only appeared on local stations

I found it, but the tape freaks out a lot. Right before Mork arrives, Fonzie comes down the stairs and answers a phone call for Richie, explaining that the Cunninghams went on vacation so he's house-sitting. I think everything I said in the other posts was accuarate, except for the egg, which lands outside the window. The second part of the episode begins right after Laverne arrives, and Fonzie introduces them, then leaves shortly thereafter. Then the pawing, groping, and silliness really begin -- culminating with Mork trying to get Laverne's earlobes....

M&M isn't currently airing on any cable stations that I know of. It ran for several years on Nick (where I obtained my crummy copy), and I think it moved to TV Land for a while, but don't quote me on that. I don't see why TNN or TBS wouldn't air the 95 episodes these days -- back in the '80s, TBS aired the show -- and they're currently running Bosom Buddies, which only has 38 episodes.

Yeah you are right-I don't why TBS would be showing Bosom Buddies-But i may be willing to make a deal with you for a copy of that episode if the local station here in philly doesn;'t show the pilot tomorrow night. I have my fingers crossed because that sounds like a halirous episode. I just checked, no they are not showing the episode tomorrow so i will be willing to buy a copy of that episode-
