I started the poll in the '50s, but gave you "other" in case you wanted to go earlier, even back to classic opera, classical days

It's a tie between the 60s and 70s, but I went with the 60s. I think all decades have good music though.

'70s for me, though a lot of the artists & bands I like established their careers in the '60s (old fuddyduddy checking in). :)

I am also a fan of early-to-mid '80s music. And I think most fans will agree with PhoenixAcres' statement.

I pick the 80s because each of my three most favorite late singers did some of their best work during that decade.

Northern Calloway (David of the Sesame Street children's show)
Steve Sanders of the Oak Ridge Boys
Billy Joe Royal

God bless you always!!!

Gotta be the 70s. Fleetwood Mac, Steely Dan, The Eagles, etc. .... on and on

I checked off 60's , but it is a toss up between the 60's ( mid to late 60's) and 70's ! Also agree with Biff, lots of early 80's music was good too ! In Trader Joe's today the Pretenders " Back on the chain gang" and Billy Idol's " White wedding " were playing ! Really brought back memories!:)
