In 1993 O-Cedar debuted Carpet Science which is to date O-Cedar's first and only stain remover in history and to honor it's debut a funny commercial was made. When the commercial begins a woman is seen cleaning her house when she encounters a spaghetti stain known as Frank and Frank tells her that he wants to disappear forever. The woman whips out Carpet Science and then Frank is gone for good. Despite a funny commercial Carpet Science was only out for one year before disappearing from store shelves in 1995. While we know O-Cedar best as a broom company this product was a smart way for O-Cedar to begin marketing household cleaners and it could've been a good foray for them to do
