Leslie Knope and April Ludgate's recent Parks & Recreation reunion on SNL proves there are still plenty of reasons to revive the popular sitcom.

Parks peaked at #96 in the ratings, in its first year, and was never again in the top 100.

I used to be a big fan of the series, and every season until the last two, I was afraid it was going to be cancelled. It barely made the cut in its early seasons, with talk of cancellation and me cheerleading it on, online.

Chris Pratt is now a near A Lister, Aubrey Plaza seems to be busy doing other stuff and so is Nick Offerman. Adam Scott is on Severance, and doing a second season of that show. I dont know if they can get the ensamble back again. I think it has been slowly learned by the networks that reviving an old show is pretty much a mixed bag and usually more of a negative than a positive. Seems that revivals happen when most of the actors are out of work and want another job.
