Does anyone know the lyrics to a song called "a whole new world" sung by sister Bertrille? It was from the Song of Bertrille episode. I really liked the song a lot and would greatly appreciate it if someone can post the lyrics.
Thanks

I'd appreciate that too!

I'd love to know what that words is after "on my odyssey the fabric of the ..." I swear it sounds like "internet" but that doesn't make any sense.

Maybe she was saying "infinite"

Here you go:

The golden glint of sunlight bathes the particles of sand,
and a myriad of patterns are designed.
In reverie I watch the changing colors of the waves,
break upon the idle seashore of my mind.

And it's a whole new world I see.
Oh yes, a whole new world for me.

And as I take a trip along the corridors of time,
where the winding halls are carpeted with grass.
My eye is on tomorrow and my hand on yesterday,
the whole panorama is my looking glass.

I'm everyone and everywhere.
And it's a whole new world out there.

On my odyssey the fabric of the infinite unfolds,
free of mushroom clouds that sear the sky above.
I harken to the thunder of a trailing of a leaf,
as it heralds the awakening of love.

And oh what miracles abound.
I'm in the whole new world I found.

And if you'd like to here it - try here @ the 19:40 mark

Just out of curiosity, would anyone like the lyrics to the song "Chopsticks" from "The Reconversion of Sister Shapiro?"

The episode with "whole new world" just aired again on Sunday on Antenna TV. I think Sally kind of enjoyed this type of thing, as opposed to the more routine episodes.

Nice to see Paul Petersen as a guest. Unless I was seeing things, I think he was miscredited as "Peterson" ...!

Among Paul's credits, I think his next work that I've seen is a 1969 ep of My Three Sons, where he plays one of the guys on his honeymoon along with Steve and new wife Barbara.

I watched the Flying Nun series recently all the way thru. And one thing I didn't remember from when I watched it as a kid was all the singing Flying Nun did. I also am pretty sure it's NOT Sally Field doing the singing in these singing episodes. It just doesn't sound like Sally's voice.
