Over the years I've noticed that there are no more Green Acres
reruns in syndication. What happened? I think the series had enough episodes to qualify for syndication p/TV Lands criteria.
I haven't seen a G.A. episode in probably in excess of 20 yrs.!
I remember always seeing reruns of the show while growing up back in the 70's. Are there legal problems occurring? Is TV Land not receiving enough fan support to show reruns? If anyone knows why G.A. isn't on the tube anymore, please advise.

Jim

Green Acres used to air on TV Land. I'm not sure why it doesn't anymore.

While I haven't seen it anywhere very recently, it was on nick at night not that long ago. They go through cycles in their programming. I'm sure it will return at some point in the not too distant future. Have patience.

It seems like some cable network should team Green Acres up with Petticoat Junction or Beverly Hillbillies and run it as a block. Seems like a natural to me.

They have to have a contract to broadcast these shows. When the contracts run out, they don't air them anymore, and yes it is for lega reasons.

Hi Brian,

I looked in the TV Guide and scrolled on the Warner Cable show line-up for Ch. 13 but couldn't find anything regarding GA.

When does it come on?

Please advise,

Jim ( big J )
