In the 80's new foods and drinks were invented to begin a new phase of the food and drinks of the future eras. One such drink that became very popular was Sundance Sparklers and had their own commercials. Sundance Sparklers were a blend of fruit juice and club soda and came in dozens of flavors ranging from strawberry/raspberry and grapefruit/mango flavors. The commercials were also best known for the slogan "It's a natural time for a Sundance" which parodied Van Morrison's classic Moondance. Although no longer seen on the market today Sundance Sparklers probably are responsible for the trend of flavored sparkling water sold today
