Does anyone think that the Ropers would have lasted longer if it was aired right after three's company on Tuesday nights? I mean since the show was a spinoff from three's company-i think it would have made more sense to aired it right after it's parent show-Like when laverne and shirley aired right after happy days.

Yes i also think that the Ropers would have lasted longer if it was aired right after three's company on Tuesday nights and had more of the cast from three's company make some crossovers on the Ropers show.:)

I was surprised to hear that no one from THree'sComany didnot appear on the Ropers until thefolowing season. I guess that's why it didn;t lastlong. Probably by time jack, janet and chrissy appear on the ropers, it was too late

Richard Kline appeared in the last episode of season one. That was the only season "The Ropers" was in the top 30.
John Ritter, Joyce DeWitt, and Suzanne Somers were on the show for it's first season two episode. I believe that episode was the highest rated of the season and it went down from there.
I think it might've lasted on any other day other then Friday/Saturday/Sunday. ABC wasn't thinking very clearly when they moved it up against one of the few high rated NBC shows at that time, "CHiPs"

I did found out that larry guest starred on the Ropers. But in my opinion, it should have only been jack or the girls
