Did the appearance of Fonzie on Laverne and Shirley during the first two episodes of L&S help make the show a hit?

Im guessing it did seeing how Happy Days was the reasonf or L&S and seeing how Fonzie was HUGE at that point in time.

What better character to have on your show as a guest star from the parent show i think fonzie was the best and only choice. i'm still trying to figure out why potsie guest starred on laverne and shirley with richie instead of fonzie.

Yes that L&S episode with richie and potsie was a good one-it's a shame L&S is not currently in syndication.

I know!! Although it doesnt matter to me, because I dont get tvand:( . Too bad Ralph was never on L&S..and Shotgun Wedding Part 2 doesnt count lol

I heard of that shotgun wedding episode and i'm waiting patiently for ot to come on TVlAND-right now TV land is in season 3 which means that it will probably be on some time in october or early november
