In the 1980's supermarket chains became huge in commercials by advertising sales with smart commercials. One supermarket to do this was Albertson's and they were best known for amazing commercials with slogans. The most popular one was "ask for HELP at Albertsons" which HELP stood for "hundreds of every day low prices" and seemed to be a smart slogan. In 1987 Albertson's debuted a new set of commercials with a new slogan "Think Big" which was used from 1987-1989. Albertson's made it's mark in Texas in the 80's too when they debuted in Dallas/Fort Worth and to honor it's debut a special commercial was made airing on stations in the Dallas area. When it comes to grocery store commercials the ones from the 80's and 90's were so much better than the ones today and commercials for supermarkets like Albertson's should make a comeback in the old style
