The next biggest category was college football with 5 broadcasts.

What a potent representation of the value of the NFL product, and football overall when the college product is added to the mix. You can see why FOX has invested in the USFL, if they can generate enough interest in the spring league the value is obvious.

Baseball at one time could count on the All Star game, and games 6 and 7 of the World Series, and possibly the final game of a league championship series to make the list. That's all in the past now, you can make a case that the NBA is actually in 2nd place with baseball trying to stay ahead of soccer.
