To put it simple the reason why I think The Jay Leno Show flopped was after leaving The Tonight Show Jay Leno thought that he had another chance to try again for NBC but instead I think NBC should made The Jay Leno Show a 30 minute talk show because he was king of NBC and he deserved better. The second talk show that should be added to the list is Harry Connick Jr's syndicated talk show Harry and I don't know why Harry Connick Jr. got the idea to host a talk show and it seemed that it was a way to make Harry a bigger star but seeing how popular singers like Jennifer Hudson and Kelly Clarkson are now making talk shows I think they view it as a side job in between making albums and touring and beginning with Harry Connick Jr. this idea seems to work
