Does anyone have a pool in their backyard? Mom tells me that not alot of peopel have an inground pool and patio thingie like me. Is that troo?

I have an above ground pool.

I don't....I wish I did, though.

No, not everyone has an inground pool, but I'm rich & I'm getting one pretty soon & a patio.

We don't have a pool. Although there is plenty of room to put it in. But would kind of be stupid to put a pool in my city. It rains to much.

I got an above ground pool now but.....

Ummm I have a hottub which we turn off and fill it w/ water from the hose and buy bags of ice to put in it so its wicked cold.... that count? :lol;

I mean... I'm happy that you have money and stuff, but, one doesn't have to be rich to have an inground and a patio, right? I mean what you posted might make a few people feel bad, like they must absolutely be loaded with money to have a pool...

I have an above-ground that stays up all the time...its right on my deck too.

It's true in my case. The only relatives of mine that have pools are loaded.

Yes but my point was, not all people that have pools have money. Look at me. I'm not grain-poor, but I'm not Gates-rich either. I have a pool, and am getting an inground...

i have a pool. but i live in an apartment and all apartments that i know of have pools.

We used to have a pool but not anymore. My dad always bought crappy cheap ones. If he could get all the money back for all the crappy ones he has bought we could a big nice pool. He promises to have a pool by next summer. My Aunt has a really big inground pool complete with a diving pool.

i dont have a pool we used to but then we moved so now i dont

We have an eight foot inground swimming pool in our backyard. Not hot tub or anything, but do palm trees count? haha

I have a backyard (I live on a farm so I have a huge backyard) but no pool actually we used to use my dads horse tank as our pool (We cleaned it out really good so don't get grossed out) but we got to big for it so I don't have a pool instead I have a pond but it's in my frontyard and I don't swim in it, actually when I was young my brother and I swam in it a couple of times but that was when there was fresh rain water in it now it hardly ever rains here in the summer so we let the irrigated water run into our pond and so then the cemical from the crops get in the water so we don't do that anymore but I do take my raft boat out on it.

I wish I had a Pool, but a lot of people that live around me have pools so i go there, plus I have a cottage thats by a lake. but
I still wish I had a Pool.

Ive got an above ground pool..actually, its our what 4th? The snow and ice ruins it every few years and we have to buy a new one! IMO, I like above better than inground, but thats b/c Im not a big fan of the slide, diving, or anything rowdy in the pool. I hate going underwater and it freaks me out lol. My friends know NOT to every push me in the pool or whatever b/c thats something I dont laugh at. I dont know why Im so freaked out by it. Oh well.

Yeah..my aunt and uncle have a huge inground pool, a bar room, 3 story house (which is HUGE), their own tennis court. Glad Im close to them! :grineyes: Oh..and they have a NICE silver convertable lol. Im not bragging, because if I was..I'D have all that stuff! lolol NOT them! But theyre cool, not snobby or anything and they dont blow their money on stupid stuff..which brings me to the question, that I have NO idea what they do for a living! lolol. Embezzlement???? lol:confused:

In the 80s we had an above ground pool....... Now we have an ingroud one....

It would be nice if we had heated water or solar cover sometimes!!
