They kept switching writers, they had a break for a year or so and were running out of ideas. Seeing them as fathers would have been nice though. The actors were ready to move on to other projects too.

Yeah, I don't think Seasons 7 and 8 are as good as the earlier seasons. Also, why did they wait until Season 7 to finally move into an actual house? Oh well, not that it really matters, since I consider Season 3-6 to be the golden era, which was during the time they were in the second apartment, which is my favorite setting.

^^^ Season seven is when Larry and Jennifer finally got married and I am guessing that back in those days, people on TV got married first before they got themselves a place together.
