Today I just watched "Christmas In October" from the new Christmas DVD set that recently came out. I had never seen this episode before, the quality was excellent (except it was reduced to a small box in the middle of the screen, but I fixed this by hitting the "Zoom" on my TV). Now what was unusual is that Wally (Skip Young) was in the show BRIEFLY but he didn't play Wally, it was just a bit part as he played a delivery boy from the "Emporium". It was odd seeing Ozzie answer the door and then seeing Wally there but Ozzie not recognizing him as Wally. This may have been "Skip's" first appearance on the show.

I hadn't seen this one, either. Never knew he played a delivery boy.

In the early seasons Frank Cady played several different parts before he settled into "Doc" Williams. Several other actors played multiple parts, also.

IMDb has him credited for that episode as his 2nd appearance on the series.
