I have not ever heard of the name Kippy. Any idea what it is short for? Flippy is supposed to be Philip. Not sure what Skippy is for either.

Outside of FKB, I've never heard of Kippy. On The New Leave It To Beaver, Beaver's older son was played by Kipp Marcus--it sounds short for something. Never heard of Flippy.

I think there was a Skippy on Family Ties. In elementary school I remember a kid whose nickname was Skip, but I don't know for sure what his real name was. His father's name was Robert (Bob), and my guess was the kid was a junior.

There was a Skippy on Family Ties, his name was Irwin Handleman, played by Marc Price.
