I just checked for next Sunday and The Flintstones are still going to be on the same time instead of Full House. I wonder did Metv change their minds and get rid of Full House?

This looks like a job for Snowpeck!

Snowpeck did post in another thread; indeed, they scrapped Full House as a last minute change. Today would have been the last airings.

It was scheduled to go to Sunday morning and was replaced by the Flintstones 2X, now totaling 3X.

MeTV got rid of "Full House" and you're complaining? Why??? In God's name, why?? This is the best move that they could have possibly done. Looks like this will be a Happy New Year after all!

Don't forget Scooby-Doo. Sort of wondering if they are going to make some other schedule moves later in January. METV has not updated the printable pdf schedule on their website, yet.

There always slow on the website updates. I think its clear now that MeTV just does schedule changes at anytime. Usually a little every month it seems.

This reminds me, I gotta get this out….

Why is it that some shows that were originally shot on videotape are “film-ized” by MeTV (Full House, Mama’s Family, etc.)? These aren’t exactly epic cinematic works here.

Theories?

My theory is that Warners put these videotaped shows thru Film Look or some such process. Mama's Family never looked that bad on TBS.

They also screw up the frame rate (I hope they're not trying to convert them to HD because that would never work!), which shows up on a bouncy credit roll, which is really bad on Mama's... .

It's not Hanna-Barbera without Scooby Doo.

They had “Monk” until recently. Even the late 80s is a distant memory to a Monk fan.

People who grew up with 80's TV are now in their 40s and 50s. As much as I hate to admit it, the 80's are now "older shows."

So far they haven't had much luck with 80's and 90's sitcoms. I think METV has perhaps built more of a cult tv audience that digs retro shows, movies and cartoons.

I'm surprised nick@nite is NOT even bringing Full House back, considered the current stale schedule is in now.
