In the first season Christmas episode. At the department store at which Hazel worked, there was a silver, aluminum Christmas tree slowly rotating in the background of her department. Very nice. I have my grandmother's tree like this, rotating stand, color wheel light and all. Love these trees.
Also, they employed a floor walker in that store who was featured on camera. Do stores nowadays still use floor walkers? And speaking of floor walkers, just what is their job responsibility?
My parents bought the same silver tree for Christmas 1964, it was the large version i believe 8 ft. They paid $12 including the color wheel!!! That tree sure brought back memories incidentally I was in 7th grade then!

Wow, what a great price! Twelve dollars including the color wheel for such a tall tree. Mine is 6 feet tall that I got from my grandmother. But I do have a rotating electric stand that it can sit in.

There was a very good episode of Dennis The Menace on Antenna TV recently where Dennis' father brings home a silver Christmas tree, and Mr. Wilson has a fit, insisting they go to the forest and chop down a "real" Christmas tree for Dennis.
Many episodes of Dennis The Menace are pretty corny but this one was superb.

Dennis did 4 different Christmas shows but that episode of Mr. Wilson taking everyone into the woods to chop down their own fresh tree is my favorite. Willard Waterman's in it as a rather nasty Mr. Quigley also the guy who always plays a drunk in Hazel and Bewitched (bald middle aged skinny guy with a goofy voice and face) is also in it on the bus. Also on the bus with that tree and Mr. Wilson is Mrs. Baxter the woman who plays George's mother on Hazel. She played the mother twice at least most memorably as when she started up her own lawn care company. But George's mother was played by a different woman in the first season, then Mrs. Baxter was Mr. Drysdale's wife from the Beverly Hillbillies.
One of the fun things for me is seeing these familiar faces from different shows of the '50's and '60's pop up in lots of different shows. Perry Mason is a great place to spot all these bit actors from different shows popping up in Mason episodes.

I have a buddy near Roanoke, who is the same way. “Hey guess who I saw on Perry Mason?” OR, “I remember him/her on Perry Mason.” He’s a big fan of Mason.

It was great to see Howard McNear (sp?) aka Floyd Lawson in a recent re-run of The Jack Benny Program, looking about a decade younger and very lively.

Love when they bring the tree on to the bus.
