I want kids, but not before 25. I also dont want to be pregnant. I guess Ill have to adopt (yet I want a kid of my own). I dunno..my friends say someday Ill want to be pregnant...but the feelings havent happened yet!

Tell me about it. Why don't you want kids? Are you all just afraid to give birth? I mean once you hold the baby in your hands, itsn't it all worth it? If you're just afriad of teh pain, that's really not that great of a reason......

I'd like to have 3 or 4 if I can afford to take care of them.

I'm not sure if I even want kids.

I want 2 kids preferable a boy and a girl but I think I'll adopt them becuase I don't want to go through all that pain of labor I know that is a stupied reason for not having my own kids but I can't take pain to well and pluse I watched a birthing video in my parenting class and that was gross and it scared me (well it scared most of the girls that watched it)

Never, ever, ever, ever. Stretchmarks for a controlling mistake of a child, NAH! I want to live wealthy so I wouldn't have any money to support anybody else, I'm greedy lol.

None. Hell no - kids are the last thing I want! I don't want to have any myself and I don't want to get involved with anyone who already has some.
To answer the person who asked why we don't want kids - I don't want 'em for several reasons:

1. As I have mentioned many, many times before I am not your average 'girly' girl. In many ways - the way I think (sometimes), that way I look etc - I am more like a guy than a girl and I can't imagine ever being pregnant. It sounds harsh but I'd sooner put a gun to my head than have a baby.

2. I like my space and I believe that silence is golden. Once there are children in your life peace and silence are a thing of the past.

3. I don't wanna get into a relationship with anyone who has kids cos the kids will always come first. This'll sound selfish but I'm being completly honest - If I'm in a relationship with someone I wanna be No.1 to them. If they have kids, the kids'll be No1 and I'll be No2 and I'm not gonna settle for that.

4. I'm too selfish to be a mother anyway. I'm ashamed to say it but how I feel is always my No1 concern. To be a decent parent you have to be completely selfless. That ain't me.

5. Stretchmarks. Nuff said.

6. Kids cost money. Money is important to me and I wanna spend it on myself.

7. When I was a teenager I hated my parents with a passion. I couldn't handle someone hating me as much as I hated my parents.

My aunt has triplet girls. ((Lordy, they're gonna be poor if they all love to shop!)) So for birthday gifts and everything you have to buy them the same thing in different colors and styles... it's hard/annoying to do.

I am very doubtful I'm going to have kids. But if I were to have kids, I would want no more than two.

O i know what you mean about not taking pain well. I want my own kids but the idea of labor scares me half to death- i swear, forget the "natural childbirth" thing, i want them to give me so many drugs, pain killers, tranquilizers, etc...

I agree with you on this one 100%. I dated a guy a couple of years ago who had 2 kids and he always put the kids first. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that. He was a great father and everything. It would just make me mad that he and I would make plans to do something and at the last minute his son would call up and want to do something or go somewhere with his dad and we would have to cancel plans that we had made weeks before. Needless to say that's the last time I ever date someone with kids.

i actually agree with you mossopp, i dont want kids but i want to find a nice lady to settle down, not nessessarily marry, and so do you probably. will and grace guy probably wants to find a nice guy to settle down with but not have kids, i hate kids they need to die. the rest of you can have your kids, me and the gays will just watch you throw your lives away.

I never ever want kids. Their nothing but immature brats. Well most kids are. I just really hate kids.

lol....I can get pregant now that im 16 and ill be like Lorelai..jk! my mom acts like Emily Gilmore (she called me obnoxious and immature all in the same sentence!)

I definetly want to have kids, I think I would like 2 of each or maybe even more!

I really want kids, but that labor thing kinda makes me rethink it. If I do have kids, I want 2 or 3 a couple years apart each. And, if everything goes like I plan, I'm gonna be rich, so I'll hire someone to take care of them. Not all the time, but my philosophy is that if you dont see them for extended amounts of time, they wont hate you as much when they get older.

Just because you don't like kids, it doesn't mean we're throwing our lives away. What if I say you're throwing you life away by not having kids? Diffrent people have differnt views. Does'nt mean we're wrong just because we like kids.
