"8 Simple Rules" is perhaps best remembered for the death of John Ritter (https://www.looper.com/135230/the-untold-truth-of-john-ritter/) during the second season in 2003. The show continued for another season, meaning that there are actually more episodes without Ritter than there are with the famous comedian and actor.
