I wish SiriusXM would banish King Harvest and bring The Turtles back. What do you guys think?

They got tons of channels and go commercial free. Can’t they find time to play both?

Interesting. I hear Kong Harvest's one song all the time on Sirius XM but I NEVER hear the Turtles.

Yeah well, I hate King Harvest's song bc that song brainwashes people and corrupts children.

Nothing wrong with lyrics Dancing in the Moonlight song. I don't know where he's getting the idea of "brainwashing people and corrupts children". Seems very pointless dumb opinion

The "bring back the Turtles" part of this thread's title does raise a good point. SiriusXM can't play The Turtles' hits because of a copyright lawsuit against SXM filed by Flo & Eddie (a comedy-rock duo formed by the original two founding members of The Turtles) in 2013 for failing to pay sound-recording royalties in California, New York, and Florida.

I think it is you who has the smutty mind. Reading your own interpretation into the lyrics.

An example of this kind of thing is when Hey Jude was released those Smutty minds had interpreted the lyrics as being either about sex or shooting heroin.

So let it out and let it in, hey, Jude, begin
You're waiting for someone to perform with
And don't you know that it's just you, hey, Jude, you'll do
The movement you need is on your shoulder---------------------Sex

Remember to let her under your skin--------------------------------Shooting up

You can break down any lyric to conform to your twisted mind.:lol:

Dancing in The Moonlight is 40 years old! Why bring it up now? I doubt that any young person today has ever heard of it! Anyway he never explained why the song is smutty . It's all in his mind.:lol:
