Examples:
1. The female lead, love interest, and/or heroine his usually a redhead:
*Mary Jane: Spider-Man

*Chase Meridian: Batman Forever

*Jean Grey: X-Men

*Tess Trueheart: Dick Tracy

*Lana Lang: Superman III

*Poision Ivy: Batman & Robin

2. Characters who often experience "I feel like I'm going insane moments" due to their dual personas:
*Superman: Superman III

*Norman Osbourne/Green Goblin: Spider-Man

*Bruce Wayne: Batman Forever

3. Get at least one villianous character w/ hunchback like qualities:
*Big Boy Caprice: Dick Tracy

*Clown: Spawn

*Penguin: Batman Returns

4. Get at least one (usually villianous) character w/ severe facial deformities:
*Red Skull: Captian America (remember that for whatever the reasons, it was explained that the Red Skull's face was natural and had to get plastic surgery because of it)

*Al Simmons: Spawn

*Two-Face: Batman Forever

*Virtually anybody from "Dick Tracy"

*Joker: Batman

*Dr. Doom: Fantastic Four (the cheap Roger Corman produced version of course)

*Shredder: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

5. The title character has to fight to clear his name at one point:
*Judge Dredd

*The Mask

*Batman Returns

*Dick Tracy

*Superman III

6. At least one character will be given a brand new "race/ethniticity" for the movie:
*Harvey Dent: Batman

*Wilson Fisk, the Kingpin: Daredevil

*Terry Fitzgerald: Spawn

Expect more examples to come!

The Roger Corman version of "Fantastic Four" doesn't count!

Ditto for "Punisher" with Dolph Lundren.

And that "Captain America" flick, althought I think Ned Beatty is great in any movie...
