Everyone needs a Clayton character in their sitcom for the hell of it. :D **moo** Scoobiedoo30 01-14-2003, 04:47 PM Here is a List of My Fave. Character #1 Robert Guilliume # 2 James Nobel # 3 Clayton And # 4 Denise. Aaron BensonFan 03-21-2004, 12:59 PM Wow, that's a tough one. I'd have to say Benson, since he's the funniest IMO. Also, Kraus and Clayton. The two of them are good bickering with Benson but they are pretty good bickering with each other too. James Noble does a great job in this show. It must be tough to portray a top political figure on one hand while being a bumbling goof on the other. (then again, I guess many in the political world manage this  ) Lisa Starsky's Chick 12-21-2004, 12:29 AM Benson was my favorite because he rocked way too hard for words. Mimosa 07-07-2005, 08:32 PM When "Benson" first went on the air, I fell absolutely, completely in love with Inga Swenson. I was 17 and she was beautiful, funny, and razor-sharp as Miss Kraus--everything I wished I could be. Doing research, I read voraciously everything I could find about her, learning about her Broadway career and her role in "The Miracle Worker" and various appearances on "Bonanza" and other TV shows, all of which I dutifully taped at the time. (I think I even have the "Family Feud" that the "Benson" cast appeared in--they won it all, as I remember.) Funny--that was twenty-six years ago, and sometimes I still run across her name somewhere or see her picture, and she still takes my breath away. It was a pleasure to see her again on the "Nick at Nite" anniversary marathon--like finding a long-lost friend. I'm a huge Rene Aubersonois fan since I was little. :) Clayton1 09-09-2006, 10:06 AM Even though Clayton could be a jerk I couldn't help it I loved that character.I have been a huge fan of Rene's since I first saw that show In 1985 when I was 12. PrettyinPink55 09-09-2006, 10:44 AM Benson, Kraus, and the Governor, I also liked Denise and Katie. What a coincidence--I first became a Benson fan in 1985 also. I was 14. :D Scoobiedoo30 09-09-2006, 12:55 PM I started watching Benson in the 82-83 all Season but then I started watching all The Benson episodes when WVUE got the right's to Benson weeknight's at 10:35 pm BensonFan 09-09-2006, 01:53 PM I started watching Benson in the 82-83 all Season but then I started watching all The Benson episodes when WVUE got the right's to Benson weeknight's at 10:35 pm I actually remember seeing Benson when it first came out in 1979 (I was only 8 back then!), but for some reason, we didn't watch it on a regular basis then. I also saw a couple of episodes every here and there after that--it wasn't until '85 that I watched it regularly. I'm kind of mad at myself for not paying closer attention to it sooner, but at least back in '85 it was still a show in progress so I got to see the new episodes every Friday(?) night. That was nice. :) |
